Choosing the Right Shade of Lipstick for Yourself

Ever bought lipsticks that look so sweet and gorgeous but ended up looking 'ewww' when you tried to apply on your lips?

Well, picking a suitable shade of lipstick is not at all difficult. The trick is stick to one simple golden rule: ONLY PICK THE SHADES THAT COMPLIMENTS YOUR UNDERTONES.

If you have a fair skintone like Lilly Collins, star playing Snow White in Mirror, Mirror

Opt for shades like fuchsia.
Cool shades like fuchsia warms up fair skin and gives a pop of colour to the face.
Try to avoid shades like dark bronze and brown as they will look too severe against porcelain skin.

If you have medium skin tone like Charlize Theron,

Opt for shades like plum and raspberry as they will play up the pink undertones and create an overall glow on your face.
You should avoid nude altogether as they are too close to your natural colour and have a tendency to leave you looking washed out!

On Angeline: Estee Lauder Pure Colour 69 Coral Sun CREME

For olive skin tone like the hot celebrity mum, Jessica Alba

Opt for shades like deep burgundy and roses.
However, avoid shades like peach and fuchsia as they will leave you looking sallow.
When you want to go and have a date with your beloved one or have a dinner with friends, you actually can wear darker lipstick colour by just apply more lipstick of yours.
During daytime, you can choose to apply more lipgloss than lipstick to get the lighter pinkish colour and gives you a healthy look ;)
