Birthday makeup with Naked palette tutorial by Angeline

Hey peeps!!! I am so sorry =( I know it's been so long I did not blog due to mid semester exams. So, please please forgive me alright and stay tuned!!!!!

Yeap, today I am gonna blog about my birthday makeup tutorial, my birthday was just over not long ago =) and this makeup tutorial also can use it when you have a dinner with your boyfriend during special anniversary dinner or Valentine's day. Okay let's get started!

Step 1:
Please make sure your face is fully moisturised with toner or whatsoever, if your skin is dry,you will never have a flawless and smooth skin even though you apply the makeup on your face. Well I used Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer as my foundation but it cannot really cover your pimples scars actually,it can only standardise your skin tone. I never use concealer so if you have a concealer please use it to cover your pimples if you have it. And then i used Make up for ever brand loose powder to absorb all the excess oil on my face so that my face will stay fresh for the whole night.

Make up for ever loose powder

I am truly recommend you guys get this make up for ever brand loose powder from Sephora (opposite to Pavillion which is at the Starhill there) because it is really good and it does not make your face looks so powdery and thick makeup like what those compact powder do. Although I know makeup products are really a big investment to girls but seriously these two products I had already used for like 6 months but still haven't finish yet!!!!! So it is really worth it!!!!!

Step 2:
Apply eye primer on your eyelid and use your finger tips to tap it in order to blend it into your skin. You can skip this step actually but if you want your eye makeup more lasting, then you HAVE to use it. This also can prevent your eyeliner smudge if you are using crayon type eyeliner =) I am using the eye primer from Benefit by the way. After applied eye primer, apply the loose powder again on your eyelid to absorb the excess oil out.

Benefit stay don't stray eye primer

Step 3:
Highlight your nose bridge to make your nose bridge looks higher ^^ I am using YSL touché éclat radiant touch here and this is soooooooo nice I SWEAR!!! although it is a bit pricey and you can't get this in Malaysia.

Step 4:
Draw your eyebrow with an eyebrow pen. If you don't know how to draw your eyebrow, you can refer to my eyebrow tutorial post.

Step 5:
Next, draw a thin eyeliner on your upper eyelid gently and slowly. I know it is really hard for those beginner but practice makes perfect alright. Everyone have to get through this stage xD I am using Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner here. You can simply get it in any drug store example like Watson. It is cheap and it never smudge!!! But there is one thing i am not really like it which is it gives a very sharp and fierce eye look.

Something like this!! very sharp right? oh yeah!! do remember to do like what I do, use your finger slightly push your eyelid outwards so that it will be easier for you to draw eyeliner.

You will look something like that!! Haha eyes will look bigger after you apply eyeliner. This is the power of makeup!!!

Step 6:
Use a brown colour crayon type eyeliner slightly draw again on that black eyeliner so that it won't give you a very sharp looking. And also draw a short line on the end of your bottom waterline which connects from the upper waterline so it kinda form a "Y" shape as what I did in the photo. Something like this.....

Step 7:
Take out your Naked palette, use your smaller brush and apply "YDK" colour on your inner and middle edge of your eyelid.

This picture is to show where is your inner, middle and outer eyelid.

Oh you must be wondering why other people usually apply eyeshadow first then only use eyeliner but mine is the other way round. So my reason is I just don't want the eyeliner make my eye makeup looks so heavy hence I prefer use eyeshadow after that to slighly cover a bit of my dark eyeliner colour so that it gives a nice toning colour on your eyelid =) If you know what i mean.....

Step 8:
Apply "Busted" colour on your outer edge of eyelid and slowly blend the two colours together with your small brush.

Step 9:
Use "Tease" this colour to blend above your eyelid so that there is no big colour difference and forms a harsh line between the eyelid u applied eyeshadow and without eyeshadow. OMG my explanation sucks, hope you guys know what i meant. HOPE THIS PHOTO HELPS YOU TO UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY ><

Step 10:
Mix "Foxy" and "Bootycall" colour with your smaller brush provided in Naked palette, apply it on the inner rim of your eyes.

Step 11:
Apply "Verve" colour on your inner edge of your bottom waterline so it makes your eyes look more awake and brighter!!!

Step 12:
Mix "Foxy" and "Bootycall" colour AGAIN with your bigger brush provided in the palette, highlight it on your eyebrow bone so it will enhance your eyebrow and your eyebrow will looks more sharper.

Step 13:
Curl your eyelashes with your curler. Trust me, it will gives you a bigger eye look and your eyes will look more attractive!!! You can actually can tell the difference of with and without curling your eyelashes. Then, apply mascara on your eyelashes after you curled it.

Tadaaaaaaa!!! The eye makeup does not look too heavy right? The eye on the left is with makeup whereas eye on the right is without makeup.

Step 14:
Use whatever blusher you have and apply it on your cheek. I am using Benetint from Benefit. It is really good!!! It gives me a very natural blush after i applied it.

Use your finger tips slowly tap it in order to blend into your skin colour.

Step 15:
Apply your favourite lipstick colour on your lips!!! if you have no idea what to use, you also can check it out my previous post about lip tutorial ^^

So yayyyyyy!!! You are done!! You can go out with your friends/family/boyfriend for whatever celebration it is!!! haha have fun peeps!!!!!
