Everyday Eye Make Up with Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Hello everyone! Today I'm gonna show you an easy everyday eye make up tutorial using Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette :)

What I will be using:
1) Urban Decay Naked 2 Eye Palette
2) BCL Makemania Data Pencil Gel Eyeliner in Deep Brown
3) Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner Pencil in 071 Pure White
4) Maybelline New York the Hyper Curl Volum' Express Waterproof Mascara
5) Etude House Color My Brows Eyebrow Mascara

With your Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Apply BOOTYCALL as a base on the entire of your eyelids.

Apply PISTOL on the outer edge of your eyelids.

Use a blending brush, blend the edges nicely.

Can you notice the difference? The left eye is evenly blended but the right eye is not :)

Use your finger, swipe a bit of  VERVE

And apply on the middle of your lids.

Next, using BCL Makemania Data Gel Eyeliner Pencil,

I personally like to line my eyes on the waterline as it gives me a more natural look.

Extend another 1-2cm of your drawn line from the outer corner of your eye.

Then, apply the liner to the outer third of your lower lash line, connecting the tip to the line you made above. This can successfully elongate your eyes, especially for girls who have rounder eyes.

To make the look appear softer, use a brush to blend the lines.

Thirdly, with Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner

Apply it on the inner rim of your eyes.
This magic trick and instantly makes your eyes appear brighter and more awake!

Blend them with a clean brush.

Now, curl your eyelashes with a eyelash curler and apply 2 coats of mascara.

Lastly, if you have dyed your hair into a lighter colour than your original hair colour like I do, you can opt for a eyebrow mascara as an alternative without having to dye your eyebrows as dying your eyebrows can be a lot harmful to your skin than dying your hair.

I'm using Etude House Color My Brows in Light Brown.
This is actually a Christmas present from Angeline last year.
Without her, I wouldn't have known that eyebrow mascara even exists!
Hence, a big thank you to Angeline for introducing this to me :)

Apply the eyebrow mascara directly onto your eyebrows and brush then evenly.

And Tadaaaa! A fresh everyday make up look is done!

Hope you enjoy my tutorial!
Happy Sunday everyone and stay tuned for our next posts!

Brown Sugar Scrub by Denise

Having dry and sensitive skin has always been my greatest concern of all.
My skin is constantly dehydrated and peels off easily, leading me to have some signs of premature aging such as wrinkle formation.

Exfoliating skin is a MUST for me.

What is exfoliate and why do we have to exfoliate our face?
Well, exfoliating means to remove the dead cells and reveal the live cells beneath, giving the skin back a healthy glow.
Without exfoliating, no matter how much moisturizer you apply on your face, the dead skin on will always prevent you from absorbing any more moisturizer into the dermal layer.

There are actually several types of exfoliation, such as scrubs, AHA, BHA and enzymes.
But today, I'm gonna show you how to make a scrub for your face in less than 5 minutes!

What you will need:
-Brown Sugar
-Olive Oil
-Warm Face Towel

1) Scoop one table spoon of brown sugar.

2) Add in two teaspoons of Olive Oil (Preferably Extra Virgin Olive Oil)

3) Stir Both ingredients with your fingers until it becomes a paste.

4)Leave it aside and  clean your face thoroughly. Trust me, you wouldn't want to skip this step as scrubbing an unclean face will only scrub off the dirt from your face.

5) Next take a 10cents size paste and massage on your face in a circular motion.
You can repeat this step until you have done it for the whole face.

6) Rinse off with warm water. and press a warm face towel onto your face immediately.

7) Lastly, slather on your moisturizer and you're done! :)

This homemade scrub works wonders for dry, chapped lips too!
The scrub might work, but never ever overdo it. Use it twice a week and it's more than enough for your face :)

You will definitely love this as it's not only easy, but it's inexpensive and most important of all, it's effective! This feels exactly the same as the over-the-counter scrub and you will immediately feel that your skin becomes soft and smooth. Besides, it smells pretty great too!

Avocado Mask for Dry Skin by Angeline ♥

Nowadays, I have suffered from dry skin because the weather in Sydney is cold and dry, my skin is starting to peel off and it will not be nice even after u apply makeup on it. So, I found this method to moisturize my dry skin from the Internet and it is quite effective after I did that experiment ;)

The Ingredients you will need (per person):
½ of very ripe and soft Avocado
¼ cup of honey

 Steps for making Avocado mask

Step 1: Cut the avocado into half carefully and the other half I suggest you either keep it for salad or you can also make into a mask for your friend =)

Step 2: If your avocado is not soft and ripe enough, boil it in the hot water until you feel it is already soft for you to mash it into paste later.

Step 3: Mash it with a spoon or maybe you also can use the juice mixer to do that.

Step 4: Add ¼ cup of honey but in this picture I roughly estimate the amount of honey I use. After that, stir them together.

You will see something like this, talking honestly the smell is not really nice but let just hope the outcome is good okay!!

Step 5: Apply a thin later of the avocado mask paste to your skin and leave for 15-20 minutes. I strongly suggest you to find someone help you to apply it because it is very hard to do it yourself. The paste might not stick well on your face. I know I know, my bare face is ugly but let just concentrate on the paste on my face alright ><''

Step 6: Rinse face with a cold washcloth.

In my opinion, maybe you guys cannot see the outcome from the picture but I truly feel that this is a good mask for people who have dry skin like me. It really moisturized your skin and when you touch your face, you can feel your skin texture is very smooth. You can do this together with your girlfriends as well during sleepover maybe? I always wish to do these kind of girly stuff with Vivian and Denise but three of us are separated now so the only thing we can do "together" is blogging!! haha anyway I hope this is helpful and very happy that I can share this beauty tips with you all!! Cheers!! ^^V

Love,
Angeline
